  • Award: Three $1,500 scholarships
  • Eligibility: Open to students who are members of the Asante TRMC Youth Volunteer Auxiliary Program.
  • GPA: None specified – sufficient to be accepted to applicant’s college of choice.
  • Selection Criteria: Applicants must have completed 200 hours of volunteer service in the TRMC Youth Volunteer Auxiliary Program (including 90 days prior to applying). Applicants are planning to attend an accredited college, university, trade or technical school in Health Sciences.
  • Other Requirements: 500-word personal essay required about applicant’s stated educational and life goals. Focus on what you have gained as an individual as well as what you have given to others while in the program and what influences the program has had on your life.
  • Application: Special application materials available at your high school Career Center, or from Linda Lamoreau, Program Director at 541-955-5417; linda.lamoreau@asante.org
  • Deadline: Contact Linda Lamorau. Make sure you speak with Linda personally to ensure your Mentor Evaluation is included with your completed application to the Scholarship Selection Committee. The Mentor Evaluation is important as it represents 1/3 of the total point system.
  • Redemption: Contact Linda Lamoreau for redemption details.  You must provide your college address information and student ID number to verify registration for monies to be forwarded to your college promptly when requested.
