  • About this Scholarship: Established in memory of the MacGuire and Chauvin Families. Lou Chauvin, lovingly proclaimed ‘father of the decade’, was a father figure to many. He provided incredible support to families and their children, and was always there when the community needed him. He was also involved in the Josephine County Planning office for many years, and was appreciated for his presence and personality on the commission, and his clear thinking and straight ahead approach to land use problems.

JCEF is now Redwood Foundation for Education
