- Award: $500
- Eligibility: Graduating senior from North Valley High School
- Selection Criteria: Awarded to a student that displays outstanding creativity, dedication, and excellence in a chosen vocational, trade, or technical field of endeavor as a student. Must be planning a career in the industrial or vocational technology fields or trades. Applicants’ chosen career interests may include but are not limited to: auto/diesel/aircraft mechanics, machinists, millwrights, welders, heating and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians, and/or the skilled trades (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, pipefitters, stonemasons, or related professions)
- Use of Funds: The scholarship may be used to obtain post-secondary education and/or training at an accredited trade, technical, professional or vocational school or college, or for union supported apprenticeship programs, or for business/employer direct-hire programs-need letter from employer. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ post-secondary education program. Scholarship funds may also be used to reimburse students for required books and school supplies with advanced approval.
